“Colour Nativity” nativity set

The designer Sebastian Bergne, who graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1990 designs everyday objects using a social approach to design. Here he continues his experiments on the meaning of colours in objects. These painted wood elements and their box depict a stylised Christmas crib, each figure being differentiated by a colour and different size. He has called on our manner of perceiving this religious scene and its image that has been conveyed so many times.
