A ceramic artist by training, using the view of a sculptor, Bernard Dejonghe approaches material, its transformations, firing and placing frequently in natural or architectural spaces. Inspired by geology and the mineral world, he uses a minimal and monochrome vocabulary, here an open circle, animated by veils of crystallizations, which reinforce the impression of timelessness and the feeling of monumentality of the work.
