The furniture Sketch Furniture from the Swedish collective Front is the first creation from motion caption software. This technique allows an object to be created from a drawing sketched in space. The movements of the pencil are analysed by computer, then recorded by Motion Capture software which digitises them in a 3D file. Finally this 3D image is materialized by the Rapid Prototyping system.
